Richard Lee Allred

Richard Lee Allred, 77, of Westfield Center, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024 after lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Dick was born in Akron on March 18, 1947 to James A. and Ethel (Yasinsky) Allred.  Dick served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam from 1966-1968 and graduated from Kent State with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science.  He retired from Lockheed Martin and had made his home in Green until moving to Westfield Center.  Dick enjoyed golfing and shooting and was a member of the Chapel in Wadsworth.

Surviving is his wife, Christine M. (Grzelak) Allred; his children, Zachary Allred of Akron and Sarah Allred of Westfield Center and his brother, Dave and Diane Allred of Mogadore.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pamela.

Services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 8th at 11:15 a.m.  at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
