Rebecca Jane (Armentrout) Blough

Rebecca Jane Blough, 76, of Sterling, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023 while surrounded by her family at Barberton Summa Hospital.

Becky was born on Oct. 22, 1946 in Wadsworth to Glen and Elizabeth (Kabeller) Armentrout.  On April 10, 1965 she married Clayton Blough who preceded her in death on Aug. 27, 1988.  She later shared her life with  Leonard Preattle until his death on May 27, 2015.  Becky enjoyed trips to Amish Country and going shopping in later years home shopping.  She collected bears and Elvis memorabila and she loved spedning time with he grandkids.  She was  a great cook and baker and she will be missed.

Surviving are her daughters, Melissa (Tom Slater) Blough and Rebecca “Botchie” Blough; grandchildren, Kevin Blough and Kassidy (Alex) Ornowski; a great granddaughter, Gabriella Blough, sisters, Helen Gray and Elizabeth "Andy" Armentrout and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clayton and her companion Lenny; her parents, a sister, Glenna “Tuddie” Wilkinson and a brother, Bill Armentrout.

Graveside services will be Saturday, Jan. 14th at 3:00 p.m. at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.   There will be no calling hours.  Murray Funeral Home in Creston is handling arrangements.
