Raymond Howard Robinett, 63, of Akron, Ohio died Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center.

Ray was born July 15, 1955 in Cleveland to James Homer and Margarete E. (Ball) Robinett and served in the U.S Army from 1975-1979.  He had worked for Craig Emch Construction and enjoyed building things and the sport of boxing.

Surviving are his sons; Joshua (Ashley) Robinett of Fayetteville, AR and Joseph Robinett of Odessa, TX; his father James Homer Robinett of Rittman; grandchildren, Joshua Michael, Elizabeth Grace, Danielle Kathryne, Cody Gabriel, Reagan Moriah, Lena and Lisa; brothers, Norman (Christie) Robinett of Smithville, Daniel (Cindy) Robinett of Rawson, and Glen (Traci) Robinett of Grand Rapids, MI and a sister, Wilma (Roger) Barnhart of Rittman.

He was preceded in death by a son, Cody Robinett, his mother, Margaret and a brother, James Allen Robinett.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 12th at 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
