Raymond A. Miller

Raymond A. Miller, 81, of 8311 Township Road 662, Dundee, died peacefully at home while surrounded by his family on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022.

He was born on Nov. 4, 1941 in Stark County to Andy N. and Lizzie A. (Miller) Miller and married Anna M. Troyer on Nov. 4, 1965.  Anna preceded him in death on July 22, 2005.  He then married Mary Ellen Miller on Nov. 11, 2006 and she survives.  He was a member of the Sarasota Amish Church.

Surviving is his wife, Mary Ellen; 3 sons and 3 daughters, Mervin (Elsie) Miller of Millersburg, Sarah Ann (Aden) Troyer of Millersburg, Leroy (Bertha) Miller of Winesburg, Wayne Miller of Berlin, Elsie (Marvin) Troyer of Dundee and Lizzie (Vernon) Hershberger of Dundee; a step-daughter, Margaret Miller of Decatur, IL; 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and  8 step-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna (Troyer) Miller; a stillborn brother, a stillborn granddaughter and a step-son, Gerald Lynn Miller.

Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 16th at 9:00 a.m. at the Wayne M. Miller residence, 8251 Township Road 662, Dundee, OH with Bishop John Paul Raber officiating.  Burial will be in the Hershberger Cemetery, Stark County.  Friends may call anytime after 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday and anytime on Thursday.  Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.  The family would like to thank the neighbors and the staff of LifeCare Hospice for their compassionate and loving care.
