Ray Anthony Lies

Ray Anthony Lies, 64, of Jeromesville, died early Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020 at his home after an 18 month battle with cancer.

Ray was born in Medina on Sept. 2, 1956 to the late George G. and Jeanette A. (Gardella) Lies.  Ray had been a welder and will be greatly missed by his family.

Surviving are a son, Anthony Ray Lies of Virginia; his grandchildren that he loved spending time with, Jayla, Rayanna, Greyson, Brooklyn and Riley; sisters and brothers, Linda Sachara of Creston, Jeanette “Tiss” Smith of Jerusalem, OH, Roy Lies of Hamden, OH, Karen Rowe of Wellston, OH and Ronnie Lies of Arizona; nieces and nephews including niece Kim VonBergen of Sterling who cared for him and special friend, Mike Finger.
