Phillip Andrew Ritzi

Phillip A. Ritzi, 80, of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 at Wooster Community Hospital after a period of declining health.

Phil was born Jan. 29, 1939 in Creston to the late Paul and Alice (Carpenter) Ritzi and was a 1957 graduate of Wooster High School.  On Aug. 27, 1968 he married the former Colleen Sue Gasser and she survives.  He retired after 37 years of service from Rubbermaid, Inc. and was a member of Chippewa Church of the Brethren.  Phil enjoyed fishing, traveling, attending car shows and playing cards.  He will be greatly missed.

Surviving are his wife Colleen of 51 years; children, Jacki Pineda of Canton, Christopher (Aneita) Ritzi of Wooster and Lisa (Tom) Posey of Rittman; his grandchildren, Nicolas (Monica) McWeeny, Louie Milum, Tiffany (Colter Kerfoot) Milum, Stephany (Tim Brown) Ritzi, Brittany Ritzi, Nathan Posey and Lauren (Taylor) Maibach; great-grandchildren, Bree, Kalee, Blake and Jacoby and sisters, Kathryn (Carl) Kick of Wooster and Mary Tavenner of Westerville.
