Peggy Jo Gantz

Peggy Jo Gantz, 71, of Burbank, died Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Fairlawn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a period of declining health.

Peggy was born Oct. 31, 1946 in Lodi to the late Gaylord and Ruby (Mullett) Gantz and was a 1964 graduate of Norwayne High School. She had worked at United Telephone and at Sprint for nearly 30 years and later at Spectrum in Orrville. Peg enjoyed crocheting, knitting, baking and making candy.

Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, John and Lynette Gantz of Burbank; nieces and nephews, Laura Campbell, Leigh Ann (Sam) Becerra, Sam (Kelly) Pittman, Kelly Jo (David) Miller, Robert (Kathy) Hamrick, Lavonna (Dave) Maxheimer, Steve (Carrie) Hamrick and Christopher Leighty and great-nieces and great-nephews including special great-niece, Payton Leighty. She was preceded in death her parents and a sister, Joan Hamrick.

Services will be Tuesday, May 15th at 5:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends will be received following the service. A family burial will be held at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
