Paula A. Tunnyhill

Obituary:

Paula A. Tunnyhill, 88, of Creston died Saturday, August 4, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster following a period of declining health.

Paula was born in Dachau, Germany on Nov. 8, 1929 to the late Alois and Maria (Bichler) Augustin. She married James Tunnyhill in 1957 and he preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 2004.

She had worked at of Travel Centers of America and had made her home in Creston for 57 years. She had volunteered at the Creston Salvation Army, was active with the Creston Senior Citizens Group and had attended the Grace Brethren Church of Sterling.

She is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Binner, Hilde Klein, and Frieda Scholze all of Germany, Rosa Brewer of Arkansas and Anna (Glenn) Kahl of Seville and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James and a sister, Maria Reiter.
