Paul William Miller

Paul William “Gabby” Miller, 78, of Moreland, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 3, 2024 after a seven year battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

Paul was born near Wooster on Jan. 27, 1946 to William and Mildred (Reidenbach) Miller.  He served in the Ohio National Guard from 1966-1972.  On  Aug. 24, 1974 he married Virginia Ann “Ginny” Finney who survives.  Paul retired from Bosch Rexroth after 34 years and had made his home in Moreland most of his life having resided in Millersburg for 18 years.  He was an avid reader and enjoyed muscle cars and listening to music.

Surviving are his wife, Ginny; son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Stacie Miller; his grandson, William Paul Miller; a sister, Linda Martin; a brother, Harrold Miller and a brother-in-law, Harry Schlauch all of Moreland.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Judy Schlauch and brother-in-law, Dale Martin.

Service will be Saturday, June 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Moreland United Methodist Church with Pastor Jennifer Darling-Mellott officiating.  Burial will be in the Moreland Cemetery.  Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.  Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
