Paul J. Miller

Paul J. Miller, 80, of 12841 Black River School Rd., Homerville, OH passed away at home on Thursday, April 10, 2025, surrounded by his family.

He was born on November 30, 1944, in Holmes County to John E. and Amanda (Miller) Miller and married Lydia Stutzman on March 4, 1971. He had been a farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish.

Surviving is his wife, Lydia, 16 children, John and Elma Miller of Polk, OH, Harvey and Katie Miller of Adamsville, OH, Mose and Stacey Miller of Mifflin, OH, Lizzie and Dan Yoder of Huntington, OH, Ella and Joe Gingerich of Rose Hill, VA, Henry and Emma Miller of Spencer, OH, Levi and Mary Miller of Homerville, OH, Jonas and Anna Miller of Huntington, OH Jerry Miller of Watford, ND, Benjamin and Katie Miller of Huntington, OH, Anna and Eli Miller of Marshall, ND, Daniel Miller of Watford ND, Amanda and Jacob Zook of Chesley, Ontario, Eli and Mary Miller, Enos and Rachel Miller, and Emery and Barbara Miller all of Sullivan, OH; 54 grandchildren; four brothers, Eli (Katie) Miller, Jonas (Susie) Miller, Levi (Lori) Miller, and John (Mary) Miller; sister, Anna (Dan) Miller; four half-sisters, Mary (Dan) Troyer, Lavina (Andy) Yoder, Ella (Eli) Troyer, Clara (Uria) Byler; half-brother, Enos (Mary) Miller; sister and brother-in-law Fannie Miller and Mahlon Swartz; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Mose Miller, half-sister, Susie Swartz, two stillborn brothers, a stillborn half-sister, and his stillborn grandson Elem Miller.

Services were Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the residence with Bishop Andy Gingerich. Burial was in the Keim Cemetery in Homerville. Murray Funeral Home in Creston handled arrangements.
