Paul Byron Fouche

Paul B. Fouche, 86, of Wooster, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital, with his family at his side, after a period of declining health.

Paul was born on Dec. 7, 1934 at the family farm in Hermanville, near Creston and was the son of the late John and Mabel (Krick) Fouche.  He graduated from Creston High School in 1952 and served in the U.S. Army from 1955 – 1957 having served during the Korean War.  On April 11, 1964, Paul married the former Sue Ann Brenneman and they shared 57 wonderful years together.  Paul had operated Paul Fouche Construction and had built numerous homes in the area, including his own home.  He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and Browns, fishing trips in Canada and traveling.  He loved spending time on the family farm at Hermanville and he always enjoyed times spent with his granddaughters.

Surviving is his wife, Sue Ann; son, Gregory Fouche and his wife, Stephanie Sumter; granddaughters, Elizabeth and Maryclaire; a sister, Julia and her husband John Mathys of Wooster and nieces, Lesa Bach and Nicole DeWalt.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Eleanor Gregory.
