Paul Eugene Buheit, 93, of Creston, passed away peacefully at home on Friday evening, Dec. 17, 2021 after a period of declining health.
Paul was born on Sept. 25, 1928 in Wadsworth to the late David Ray and Blanche (Spears) Buheit and married Leila Miller on Nov. 12, 1955. He retired from Rexroth in Wooster in 1992 and had made his home in Creston for the past 66 years. Paul was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster and the Knights of Columbus and over the years he enjoyed traveling, camping with his family, fishing and riding motorcycles with family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Lee; sons, Stephen Buheit of Creston and Jonathan Buheit of Wooster; son-in-law, Galen Yoder of Wooster; grandchildren, Maria Yoder, Monica (Bruce) Eudy, Mark (Kristie) Yoder and Michael Yoder; great-grandchildren, Barrett and Easton Yoder and Vinsen, Lincoln and Ava Eudy and two half-sisters, Donna Hinkle and Patsy Kuhn.
Paul was preceded in death by his son, Paul Albert Buheit, daughter, Mary Ann Yoder, his parents and sisters, Jean Dawson and Elaine Hugi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 21st at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster. Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 5-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary School Endowment Trust, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster, OH 44691.
