Patricia Sue Sands

Patricia Sue Sands, 65, of Wooster, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019 at Wooster Community Hospital after a period of declining health. Pat was born Oct. 7, 1953 in Wooster to the late Alvin and Mildred Louise (Franks) Reed and was a 1972 graduate of Norwayne High School. On Aug. 1, 1991 she married Tommy Sands and they had made their home in Fredericksburg prior to moving to Wooster. Pat had worked at the Wayne County Care Center for nearly 30 years and enjoyed doing crafts and needle work. Surviving are her husband, Tom; her special step-mother, Eleanor Reed of Seville; sister, Janet (Duane) Bowers of Madison, Miss.; step-brother, Chuck “Sonny” Eller of Wooster; step-sisters, Reba (Kenny) McBride of Chippewa Lake and Betty Woods of New Providence, PA; and nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. Pat requested that there be no services held. Murray Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Wayne County Care Center Auxiliary, 876 S.
