Pamela Lynn Mika, 63, of Creston, Ohio, passed away suddenly at her home on July 3, 2026. Born on May 8, 1963, she was the daughter of Duffy Foky and Linda Meyer. Pam graduated from Black River High School and the Medina County Career Center in 1981. She went on to become a licensed practical nurse and dedicatedly cared for others until her early retirement. In her prime she was known to be a hard worker, a caring mother, a good friend, a sharp card player, and an avid fisherman.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Mika; her children, Sierra (Daniel) Ritzman of Creston and Jarid (Katie) Mika of Rittman; her father, Duffy Foky; and her two brothers, Steve (Ann) Foky and Jim (Lisa) Foky, all of West Salem. She also leaves behind her three precious grandchildren: Jacob, Jubilee, and Charlie Rae.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Meyer. The family is comforted knowing she is now at peace after many years of declining health.
A celebration of life for Pam will be held on July 18, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at her daughter’s home, 5848 Stuckey Rd., Creston, Ohio 44217. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.
