Norman Vincent Robinett, 63, of Smithville, went peacefully home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 18, 2024 while at home with his wife.
Norm was born on Jan. 16, 1961 in Wadsworth to the late James and Margaret (Ball) Robinett and graduated from Temple Christian Academy in Fremont. On June 28, 1986 he married Cristie Lynne Stutzman and she survives. Norm enjoyed Bible Study, hiking, woodworking and doing art work. Norm was a jokester and he loved spending time with his grandkids and his wife and his time spent driving for the Amish.
Norm is surviving by his wife, Cristie; his daughters and sons-in-law, Ashley and Tom Gross of Smithville and Kellie and Wil Torres of Perrysburg; his grandchildren, Brayden and Jace Bauman, Gage Gross and Jaxon, Riley and Laura Torres; sister, Wilma Barnhart of Rittman; brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Traci Robinett of Kalkaska, MI; sister-in-law, Cindy Robinett of Bluffton and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, James Allen, Raymond and Daniel Robinett.
The family will have a casual Graveside service at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Rev. Stephen Olsen will officiate. The family extends a special thanks to the staff of Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare for their wonderful care and support.
