He married the love of his life, Connie Kline of West Salem, Ohio on June 30, 1962. He remained married and faithful to her for 58 years. His children and grandchildren were very close to his heart. Norman Gregg was a retired ordained minister who served within the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) for 57 years. In 1963, he began his first pastorate in Covington, OH. In 1965, Norman and Connie Gregg followed Rev. Carl Richardson to assist in planting a healthy new church in Hobart, Indiana (Chicagoland). Throughout the years; he started other works, evangelized, and successfully pastored churches. He was a man who touched God in prayer. His faithfulness and fruitfulness stood out among those who loved him. He is now in heaven and his tears have been wiped away. No more pain or sorrow. Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: Blessed are the dead in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them” Revelation 14:13 His Lord said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things; I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of the Lord.’ Matthew 25:23 Some of Norman’s favorite pastimes included golfing, fishing, auctions, and he played basketball or barn-yard basketball till age 60. The time spent together with family and friends were very important to him. Celebration of Life Service Friday, October 23rd - 6:00 pm Mt. Zion Church of God 837 S. Geyers Chapel Rd.
