Nathan Wayne Pomeroy

Nathan Wayne Pomeroy, 50, of Medina and formerly of Rittman, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023.

Nathan was born on Dec. 20, 1973 in Wadsworth to the late Glenn and Janice (Johnson) Pomeroy and was a 1992 graduate of Rittman High School.  He was a general manager of Antonio’s Pizza having managed several area locations.  Nate had been the Foreign Exchange Coordinator for ASSE and had been an area sports referee.  He loved following Cleveland Sports Teams and Ohio State and he enjoyed being on the water, especially on Lake Erie.

Surviving is his wife, Joyce Bair who he married Sept. 3, 2017; sons, Bryce Pomeroy and Milo Pomeroy; step-children, Nick, Mason and Natalie Bair; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Rhonda Pomeroy; a sister-in-law, Debbie Pomeroy; a brother-in-law, Glenn Griffith and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Janice; a brother, Eddie Pomeroy and a sister, Sherry Griffith.

Services will be Thursday, Dec. 28th at 12:00 noon at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Rev. Cecil Farmer officiating. Burial will be in Rittman Cemetery.  Friends may call from 10:30 a.m.  until time of services on Thursday.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Haven of Rest, 173 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44308.
