Nathan Edward "Nate" Teter

Nathan E. “Nate” Teter, 87, of Rittman, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at his home.

Nate was born on July 5, 1935 in Harman, WV to the late Fred D. and Leah B (Judy) Teter and married Linda Canfield on April 12, 1980.  He retired from Timmerman Geotechnical in Akron and had made his home in Rittman for the past 43 years.  Nate enjoyed mowing the yard and caring for his home and is remembered as being a social person who never met a stranger. He was member of the Assembly of God in Harman, WV.

Surviving is his wife, Linda; daughter and son-in-law, Dea Lynn and Oly Graham of Ft. Worth, Tx; sisters and brother, Nancy Miller of Parma, Sharon and husband Pat Files of Brawley, CA, Brenda Van Deman of Shreveport, LA and Gaylord “Pete” and wife Rose Teter of Girard and nieces and nephews including special niece and her husband, Phyllis and Robert Yoders.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers-in-law, Guy Miller and Thomas Van Deman.

Friends may call Thursday, March 23rd from 3-5 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home where Pastor Matthew Roberts will conduct services at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery on Friday.
