Nancy Lynn (Strock) Bechtel

Nancy Lynn Bechtel, 62, of Wooster, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020 at Wooster Community Hospital after a 10 month illness.

Nancy was born Nov. 15, 1957 in Wooster to the late James Roland and Ellen (Laughlin) Strock and was a 1976 graduate of Triway High School.  On Jan. 29, 1977 she married Lowell Bechtel and together they operated Bechtel Services in Wooster.  She had previously worked at Wooster Brush.  Nancy was a member of the Creston-Canaan United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading and watching horse racing.  Her greatest enjoyment was her four grandkids and she will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her husband, Lowell; her daughter and son-in-law, Bethany and Keith Haynes of Creston; sons and daughter-in-law, Cory Bechtel and Kelsey Spencer of Wooster; her four grandchildren, Caleb, Caden, Elinore and Ruth Haynes; brothers and sister-in-law, Donnie and Linda Strock and Jerry Strock  of Moreland; nieces, Peggy and Caroline; a nephew, Matthew; brother-in-law and sister-in-law,  Ron and  Jane Bechtel and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joanna and Therm Briggs.

Services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Creston-Canaan United Methodist Church, 166 S.
