Nancy Ann Ripley, 91, of Creston, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Feb. 17, 2025 at Burbank Parke Care Center.
Nancy was born in Rittman on Feb. 18, 1933 to William and Ruth (Forrer) Campbell and had made her home in Creston since 1942. She married Kent A. Ripley on Thanksgiving Day, 1948 and he preceded her in death on May 19, 2009. She had worked for 20 years in the bakery at Hawkins Market in Wooster which was a job she truly loved, and she had enjoyed traveling. She had been a member of the former Kiddie Chat Mothers Club.
Surviving are her children, Christy Tabor of Boardman, Robin and Gary Daugherty of Burbank, David and Terry Ripley of Creston and Jeff and Denise Ripley of Wooster; grandchildren, John Moran of Chandler, AZ, Michelle (Tom) Hamby of Burbank, Erik (Cortney) Tabor of North Lima, Ethan (Jacquline) Tabor of Poland, Craig Ripley of Wooster and Rachel Ripley of Lakewood; great-grandchildren, Zach Tabor, Paige Tabor, Chase Hamby, Morgan Hamby, Claire Tabor and Kent Tabor and a sister, Carol Baird of New Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kent; her parents and half brothers and sisters, Ralph, William, Leroy, Harold, Arthur and Austin Campbell, Helen Bucknot, Ruth Jones, Hazel Kurtz, Norma Campbell, Delores Kelly and Robert Gardiner and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Elly Ripley.
Services will be Friday, Feb. 21st at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of services. Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the March of Dimes. The family would like to extends a special thanks to the staff at Burbank Parke for the wonderful care given to our Mother. Your kindness and support will always be remembered.
