Nancy Ann Bergolc

Nancy Ann Bergolc, 66, of Creston, went home to be with God on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019 at her home after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

Nancy was born Feb. 8, 1953 in Cleveland to the late John and Lena (DiStefano) Cosari and married Richard A. Bergolc on Aug. 6, 1977.  She was a graduate of Cleveland Central Catholic High School and had attended Cleveland State University.  Nancy had worked at the Creston Branch of the Wayne County Library from 1992 – 2003 and then worked for the Village of Creston from 2003 until retiring in 2016 where she served as the Mayor’s Clerk of Court.  A faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster, Nancy was active in the Creston Community having worked at the annual Ox Roast, the Labor Day Car Show and had done story time and crafts at the library.  In 2013 she was honored as a Citizen of the Year for her commitment and dedication to her community.  Nancy enjoyed knitting, baking and cooking but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Rich; her children, Michael of Wooster, Richard and his wife Rebecca of Rittman, Mary and her husband Brad Miller of Ashland and Emily and her husband Troy McMillen of Wooster; her much loved grandchildren, Austin, Audrey, Hailey, Blaise, Vincent and Kennedy; a brother, John Jr. (Linda) Cosari of North Ridgeville and a sister, Rosemary Jones of Elizabeth, WV.

Services will be Tuesday, Dec. 17th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster with Father Stephen Moran officiating.  Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.   Friends may call Monday from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691 or to St. Augustine Hunger Center, 2486 W. 14th St., Cleveland, OH 44113.
