Nancy Carol Beichler

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Carol Beichler. Nancy was born on August 7, 1942, in Canaan to Ben and Mildred (Huffman) Norton. Nancy left us on August 4, 2026, leaving us with a void and heavy hearts that will never be filled. With her departure, we remember a life lived with immense love and a constant sense of caring.

Nancy met the love of her life, Larry Beichler while roller-skating at a FFA/FHA event. They would marry on February 25, 1962. Nancy and Larry welcomed two daughters, Denise and Connie and together they made their home in Creston.

For 27 years, Nancy worked for the Westfield Insurance Companies, retiring in 1997. After retiring, she helped to take care of the Beichler family farm. Nancy enjoyed NASCAR racing, camping, gardening, cooking and cake decorating. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed attending their school and sporting events.

Nancy leaves behind her husband, Larry of 64 years, daughters, Denise Dorsey and special friend, Vic Yacapraro and Connie and her husband Bob Wiles; her 4 grandchildren, Zachary Dorsey, Matthew Dorsey, Hannah and her husband Cory Stryker and Macee and her husband Jace Watts; her two great-grandchildren, Laya and Myles Stryker; sister, Shirley Norton; several niece and nephews and many dear friends including, Dave and Cindy Stefanski,

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Richard and Bernard “Butch” Norton and two sisters, Priscilla Norton and Edith Justice.

Services will be Saturday, August 8th at 12:00 noon at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Art Carr officiating. Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
