Nadine A. Yannayon, 85, of Creston, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
Nadine was born in Wooster on Feb. 28, 1936 to the late Doyle and Maxine (Miller) Siegfried. She had worked for 29 years for the Medina County Auditor's Office and was a member of the Creston Presbyterian Church. Nadine loved to travel and she enjoyed collecting dolls, teddy bears and postcards.
Surviving are her children, Raymond C. Yannayon of Oceanside, CA, Pamela L, (Harold) Dean of Beavercreek, OH, Kenneth J. (Penny) Yannayon of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Rhonda Y. (Allen) Stanbery of Winston Salem, NC; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; a brother, Roger D. Siegfried of Hinckley, and a sister, Sandra Pennington of Creston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Capel and her parents.
Memorial services will be Thursday, Aug. 19th at 11:30 a.m. at Creston Presbyterian Church, 13070 Cleveland Rd., Creston with Pastor Mike VanArsdale. Interment will be prior to the services on Thursday at 10:45 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with Jim Yannayon officiating. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
