Mose M. Shetler, 80, of 4386 Harrison Road, Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday forenoon, April 23, 2026, after a lengthy illness. He was surrounded by his family.

Mose was born on May 5, 1945, near Maysville to the late Mose M. and Amanda (Miller) Shetler and was a member of the Amish Church.

Mose is survived by his brother, Andrew Shetler of Holmesville; sisters, Lizzie Ann Shetler and Mary Shetler of the home and Fannie (Henry) Miller of Wooster; sisters-in-law, Miriam Shetler, Jemima Shetler and Clara Shetler all of Fredericksburg and 30 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, John M. Shetler, Dan M. Shetler, Levi M. Shetler and Enos M. Shetler; a stillborn brother; sister-in-law, Emma Shetler and a 1 niece and a 2 nephew.

Friends may call any time after 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24th and anytime Saturday, April 25th at the Jacob Shetler residence, 4090 Harrison Rd., Fredericksburg where services will be held on Sunday, April 26th at 9:00 a.m. Bishop Joe Hostetler will officiate and burial will be in the Yoder Cemetery, Prairie Township, Holmes County. The family wants to thank Ohio's Hospice LifeCare for all their loving care over the past years.  Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
