Mose Nisley, Jr., 62, of Fredericksburg, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023 after an extended illness. He passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side.

He was born on March 16, 1961 in Wayne County to the late Mose and Susie (Yoder) Nisley and married Fannie L. Hostetler on June 3, 1982.  She preceded him in death on Oct. 20, 2014. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are his children, Joseph (Mary) Nisley of Apple Creek, Mary (Benny) Petersheim of Wooster, Barbara (Samuel) Hostetler of McKay, Robert (Barbara) Nisley, Miriam Hostetler and Marie (Junior) Petersheim all of Fredericksburg, Leon Nisley of the home, Linda (Jacob) Petersheim, Edwin (Edna) Nisley and Martha (Dan) Hostetler all of Fredericksburg and Norman (Rebekah) Nisley of Holmesville; 37 grandchildren and brothers and sisters, Jonas (Susie) Nisley, Elizabeth Schmucker, Abner (Barbara) Nisley, Eli (Malinda) Nisley, Katie Nisley, the late Roy (Sarah) Nisley and William Nisley.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie; son, Levi; son-in-law, Vernon Hostetler; his parents; brothers, Roy and David Nisley, sister, Barbara Nisley and brother-in-law, William Schmucker.

Services will be Sunday, June 4th at 9:00 a.m. at the Nisley Residence, 4328 Graber Rd., Fredericksburg with Bishop Levi Hostetler officiating.  Burial will be in the Graber Road Cemetery.  Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the residence.  Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
