Monroe E. Miller

Monroe E. Miller, 87, of 5595 Township Rod 409, Millersburg, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018 at his home following a period of declining health.

He was born June 12, 1930 to Eli J. and Anna Miller and married Mary J. Miller on Oct. 28, 1954. She died June 5, 2013. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are his sons, Nelson M. (Katie) Miller, David M. (Dora) Miller and Paul M. (Martha) Miller all of Millersburg; son-in-law, Levi Coblentz of Millersburg; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe E. Miller of Millersburg; sisters, Clara (Enos) Raber and Sarah Barkman both of Farmerstown and a brother-in-law, David Hershberger of Fredericksburg. In addition to his wife; a daughter, Anna Mae Coblentz, his parents, a brother Dan (Dena) Miller, a sister, Ada Hershberger; 2 half-sisters, Mattie and Katie and a brother-in-law, Jacob Barkman died previously.

Friends may call Tuesday at the Paul M. Miller residence, 5595 TR 409, Millersburg. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 21st at 9:00 a.m. at the Andy Miller Jr. residence, 6420 State Route 241, Millersburg. Burial will be in Honey Run Cemetery. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
