Michael James Longo, DC, 62, of Seville, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Michael was born in Chicago, ILL on May 3, 1961 to Robert James and Grace (Carone) Longo. Michael graduated from the National Chiropractic College in 1986. He had owned and operated Lodi Family Chiropractic for the past 20 years. In addition to being a chiropractor, he also taught at Stark State for several years. Dr. Longo was the Team Doctor for Black River High School Football and had formerly been the team doctor at Cloverleaf High School. Combined, he was the team doctor for 199 games. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police in Medina. A few of his other passions were spending time with his daughter, home improvement projects, and helping the youth of his community. He will be greatly missed and dearly remembered by his family, countless friends, and community members. Surviving is his daughter, Emily Grace Longo of North Canton; son, Joseph William Longo of Dallas, TX; his step-mother, Beverly Longo of Blytheville, Arkansas and a sister, Dyan Glover of Tennessee as well as his nieces, nephew, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 5th at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with a visitation for family and friends from 2-4 p.m. and the service to follow at 4:00 p.m..
