Mattie S. Miller

(Pete) Mattie S. Miller, 90, of Holmesville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at the home of her granddaughter, Marvin and Naomi Weaver, surrounded by her family.

She was born on April 29, 1930, to the late Samuel J.B. and Katie Ann (Yoder) Miller in Millersburg, Ohio. She was married to the late Peter E. Miller on Nov. 26, 1953. He died March 23, 1979. She was a member of New Life Fellowship Church.

She is survived by her 6 children, John (Susie) Miller and Andrew (Marie) Miller, of Holmesville, Elsie (Joseph) Miller of Utica, Mervin (Leona) Miller and Daniel (Gertie) Miller of Millersburg, and Leroy (Dawn) Miller of Copley, 21 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, 4 great great-daughters. Sisters, Lovina Frederickson of Goshen, IN., Barbara Miller, Akron, Viola Yoder, Sugarcreek, and Fannie Miller, Millersburg.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by 1 daughter, Miriam, 1 stillborn daughter, 5 brothers John, Crist, Ivan, Adam, and Emanuel Miller. 3 great granddaughters Marnita, Norma and Delores Yoder.

Calling hours and funeral services will be held at New Life Fellowship church, 8580 County Road 245, Holmesville. Calling hours will be Sunday from  2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 2- 4 and 6-8 p.m.  Funeral Services Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will be at church cemetery.
