Maryann (Hershberger) Schlabach

MaryAnn Schlabach, 45, of 9295 Township Road 609, Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully at her home at 11:40 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023 after a 9 month battle with cancer.

She was born on May 22, 1978 in Millersburg to Roy and Anna (Miller) Hershberger.  She married Monroe D. Schlabach on Sept. 22, 1998 and he survives.

She leaves to mourn her husband, 8 children, Andrew (Anna) Schlabach of Wooster, Lori (Aaron) Hershberger of Wooster, Sara (Raymond) Troyer of the home and Freeman, Eddie, Perry, Cindy and Paul all of the home; three grandchildren; her parents, Roy and Anna Hershberger; 5 brothers, Eddie (Esther) Hershberger, John (Arie) Hershberger, Joe (Arie) Hershberger, David (Mary) Hershberger and Roy Jr. (Betty) Hershberger; 4 sisters, Miriam (David) Miller, Susie (Atlee) Weaver, Alma (Aden) Miller and Lori (David) Keim and her mother-in-law, Mattie Schlabach.

She was preceded in death by a nephew, a niece, her grandparents, and her father-in-law, Dan J.J. Schlabach.

Services will be Sunday, Nov. 12th at 9:00 a.m. at the residence with Bishop Joseph A. Troyer officiating.  Burial will be in the Hershberger Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Wayne Co.  Friends may call anytime after 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the residence.  Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
