Mary Jo Sohar

Mary Jo Sohar, 78 of Rittman, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022.

Mary Jo was born on May 20, 1944 in Wadsworth to the late Joseph and Esther (Whitman) Sohar and graduated from Norwayne High School in 1962.  She had worked for the Woolworth Company and had made her home in the Rittman area.  She was a faithful member of Northside Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Richard Sohar and her sister, Joyce Mair and is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins; her Apostolic Christian Home family who cared for her for the past 10 years and her church family.

Services will be Wednesday, Sept. 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call one hour prior to services.  Burial will be in Rittman Cemetery. www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
