Mary Laura (Mcdermott) Bolen

Mary L. Bolen, 79, of Seville, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 after a period of declining health.

Mary was born in Lodi on Aug. 4, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Harley "Hap" and Alice (Moore) McDermott.  She graduated from  Westfield High School and had made her home in Seville for the past 25 years having previously resided in Creston.  Mary was an avid gardener and enjoyed crocheting, sewing, painting and doing crafts.  Known as Grams to many kids that she adopted into her heart over the years, she was often called "Our Little Peach"  by her family.

Surviving are her children, Sam (Judy Oxenrider) Moyer and Tim (Terry) Moyer both of Creston and Carry (Paul) Kenstermaker of Orrville; her 8 grandchildren, Dustin, Brittany, Megan, Garrett, Derek and Allison Moyer and Arianne and Kirsten Fenstermaker and two brothers, Russell (Bonnie) McDermott of Salem and Charles (BJ) McDermott of Creston.

Services will be Thursday, Dec. 23rd, at 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of services on Thursday.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com   Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd.
