Mary A. Gallion

Mary A. Gallion, 95, of Burbank, died peacefully early Thursday morning, May 18, 2017 at Westview Health Living in Wooster. Mary was born Nov. 1, 1921 in Burbank to the late Glenn and Hazel (Myers) Schaad and was a 1939 graduate of Burbank High School. On July 24, 1940 she married Dale “Red” Gallion and he preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 1979. Mary had worked at the Ohio Match Co. and briefly at the Wayne Co. Care Center. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Burbank and the United Methodist Women, Lodi Order of Eastern Star #137, the Rebekah Lodge in Lodi and the Burbank Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Over the years Mary enjoyed, sewing, doing word puzzles and reading. Surviving are her sons, Patrick (Stephanie) Gallion of Wooster and Gary Gallion of Burbank; 3 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a brother, Warren Schaad. Services will be Tuesday, May 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church in Burbank with Pastor Jack Gessic officiating. Burial will be in Burbank Cemetery.
