Mary J. (Dunlap) Burr

Mary J. Burr, 64, of Wooster, passed away unexpectedly at home with family at her side on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022.

Mary was born in Lodi on May 18, 1957 in Lodi and was the daughter of Robert and Helen (Schaad) Dunlap.  On Feb. 13, 1974 she married Vaughn Burr and he survives.  Mary was a homemaker who loved caring for her grandkids and had made her home in Creston, Rittman and Wooster most of her life.  She was a member of Creston Moose Lodge and the Wadsworth Eagles. She enjoyed shooting guns, going to flea markets, 4-Wheeling and she loved horses.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Vaughn; sons and daughters-in-law, Frankie and Catrina Burr of Wooster and Robert and Crystal Burr of Orrville; grandchildren, Justin, Savanna, Destiny, Erica, Hunter, Maria, Katonna and Richie; great-grandchildren, Alexa, Lucas and Katherine; her mother, Helen Dunlap and Henry Whitman of Creston and a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Belinda Dunlap of Wooster and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and her sister, Margo Holland.

Services will be Saturday, Jan, 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with John Murray officiating.  Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of services on Saturday Jan. 22nd .  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Contributions may be made in Mary’s memory in care of the funeral home for final expenses.
