Mary Dawn Brenneman

Mary Dawn Brenneman, 79, of Wooster and formerly of Burbank, passed on early, Friday morning, Dec. 4, 2020 at the Avenue at Wooster with her daughter and son by her side.  Mary had recently been diagnosed with cancer.

Mary was born June 6, 1941 in Lodi to the late Grover C. and Marian P. (Ewing) Maxwell and was a member of the Norwayne Class of 1959.  She retired in 2000 from Rubbermaid, Inc. after 41 and half years of service.  Mary enjoyed going to Country Music Concerts especially seeing George Strait and she enjoyed the Scottish Bagpipers.  She loved the Cleveland Indians and went to many games over the years. Mary attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Burbank and will be remembered for always helping her family and her friends whenever and wherever she could.  She will be deeply missed by her daughter and son and all who knew her.

Surviving are her children, Lisa (Frank) Berger of Wooster and Todd (Jackie Yoder) Brenneman of Shreve; sisters, Norma Buckingham of Burbank and Carolyn Leedy of Wooster; a special sister-in-law, Janet Maxwell of Wooster and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles “Chuck”, William “Bill”, Richard “Pinky” and George Maxwell and sisters, Ellen Stull and Janice Buckingham.

Services will be Monday, Dec. 7th  at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Lori Burdette-Steele and John Murray officiating.  Burial will be in Burbank Cemetery.  Friends may call Monday from 12:00 noon until time of services.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com   Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, c/o 2525 E.
