Mary Catherine Boettcher

Mary Catherine Boettcher, 54 of Medina, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020. She was born to her parents Donald and Kathleen Cunningham on Jan. 1, 1966 in Cleveland. A graduate of Magnificat High School, she went on to earn a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from Cleveland State. Mary worked as a Speech Pathologist for 5 years before retiring from Tremont Montessori in 2018. Mary met William Boettcher in 1983 and they married on June 9, 1989. Together they raised 3 children, Cody, Emily, and Jordan. She is survived by a brother Timothy Cunningham and a cousin Maryann Jelson. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8pm at the MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, 173 S. MAIN ST., CRESTON, OH (limit of 10 people at a time). The funeral service will be the funeral home Tuesday at 10am followed by the burial at Poe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Brain Tumor Assoc.
