Martha Ann Duncan

Martha Ann “Marty” (DeShetler) Duncan, 74, of Wooster, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.

Martha was born on February 9, 1952, in Fredericksburg, Virginia and was one of ten girls in her family. She had worked at Gerstenslager in Wooster for over 20 years and in her free time enjoyed crafting, crocheting, and going fishing.

Martha is survived by her sons, Edward (Betsy) Duncan and Frederick (Krystal) Duncan; daughters, Michelle (Mike) Walker and Jennifer Daugherty; grandchildren, Kaleb, Cody, Bradley, Brandy, Mikayla, Mckenzie, Eve, Gavin, Damon, Kaden; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Earl Duncan, daughter, Angela Dye, and grandson, Bryan Edgell.

Friends may call Monday, September 14th from 5-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg where a brief service will be held at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to help with Martha’s final expenses.
