Mark Louis Shiverdecker

Mark Louis Shiverdecker, of Creston, passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2024 at his home. Mark was born in Brunswick on February 29, 1964 to Glen E. and Marie L. (Zimmerlin) Shiverdecker and was a 1982 graduate of Cloverleaf High School. After school, Mark worked at Cloverleaf Schools and retired as the head custodian. Mark married Carol Kirschling on May 19, 1990, they shared many wonderful years together. Mark enjoyed watching and going to sporting events with his two boys, coaching his boys youth baseball teams, and mowing yards.

Mark is survived by his wife Carol; sons Matthew and Jacob; brother Michael Shiverdecker; mother-in-law Anna Kirschling; three brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law; many nieces and nephews including special niece, Rachel Kirschling.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A public viewing will be held at Murray Funeral Home Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at a later date at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.
