Marianne "Anne" Buckland

Marianne “Anne “ Buckland, 72, of Creston, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022 at Wooster Community Hospital after a brief illness.

Anne was born on March 3, 1949 in Medina to the late John and Neva Vonda (Webber) McFrederick and was a 1967 graduate of Norwayne High School.  She attended Gerber Beauty School and had been a hair stylist for over 50 years having owned and operated Innovations in Seville since 1996.  She had also worked for Tressa having traveled across the United States teaching styling and coloring for ten years.   Anne was a member of Grace Church in Norton and she enjoyed gardening, shopping, cooking and traveling.  Her grandchildren were the loves of her life and she will be greatly missed.

Surviving is her husband, Danny Buckland who she married on Feb. 17, 1990; son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Kirsten Watkins of Massillon; daughter, Tara Apel of Creston; her six grandchildren, Sara, Connor and Tristan Watkins and Sidney, Riley and Chase Apel; her sisters and brother, Sue Cleckner of Wadsworth, Edward McFrederick of Winston Salem, NC and Janice and her husband John Campbell of Indianapolis, IN and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Lisa Garrett.

Services will be Monday, Jan. 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Bob Combs officiating.  Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Friends may call Sunday, Jan. 16th from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Church for Youth Ministry, 3970 Cleveland Massillon Rd., Norton, OH 44203.
