Mack Robinette, 60, of Sterling, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 8, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Mack was born on November 10, 1964, in New London, Ohio to John Mack and Essie (Kelly) Robinette. He worked as a factory machinist and was a jack of all trades who could fix anything you needed him to. On July 28, 1990, he married Christine Cox and they spent over 35 years together. Mack enjoyed roofing houses in his spare time, racing cars, fishing, 4-wheeling, and spending time with his grandchildren playing video games or going to the fair. He will be missed greatly by his family who will all love and remember him for who he was.
Mack is survived by his wife, Christine; son, Mack Robinette III; daughters, Amber Spencer, Candi Robinette, and Tiffany Robinette; grandchildren, Ziva Lowe and Connor Foss; brother, John (Teresia) Robinette; sister, Mary Ellen (Edgar) Holbrook; and five nieces and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Ryan Robinette.
At Mack’s request cremation will take place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
