Lydia E. Miller, 81, of 8697 S. Apple Creek Rd., Fredericksburg, OH passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 19, 2022 at the home residence after a short period of declining health.

She was born on March 23, 1941 in Fredericksburg to William T. and Barbara (Miller) Hostetler.  She married Eli J. Miller on Dec. 8, 1960 and he preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 2018.  She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She is survived by 5 sons and 4 daughters, Reuben (Barbara) Miller of the home, Verna (John) Yoder of Loudonville, Joni (Amanda) Miller of New Concord, Johnny (Barbara) Miller of Fredericksburg, Eli Jr. (Verna) Miller of Munfordville, KY, Barbara (Eli) Hostetler of Holmesville, Edna (Jerome) Byler of Sandy Lake, PA, Rachel (Andy) Hostetler of Utica, PA and Andrew (Amanda) Miller of Fredericksburg; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Miller of Adamsville; 68 grandchildren, 117 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ervin W. Hostetler of Apple Creek and a sister, Edna Miller of Fredericksburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, William, her father and mother, 3 brothers and a brother-in-law.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 22nd at 9:00 a.m. at the residence with Bishop Atlee E. Hostetler officiating.  Burial will be in the Troyer Cemetery, Salt Creek Twp., Wayne County.  Friends may call anytime after 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.  Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.  The family is very grateful for the services LifeCare Hospice provided.
