Linda Jeanne Schaffter

Linda Jeanne Schaffter, 74, of Burbank, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster after a brief illness.

Linda was born on June 28, 1951, in Elkins, WV to the late Ronald and Elizabeth Mae (Ware) Shiflett. She graduated from Smithville High School in 1969 and on Augst 24, 1969 married Lloyd “Cork” Schaffter. Cork preceded her in death on April 27, 2015. Linda was an avid reader, and she enjoyed working outdoors mowing and tending to her flower beds.

Surviving is her daughter, Lori and her husband Doug Weinman; grandsons, Zack and his wife Danielle Weinman and Nate Weinman; great-grandchildren, Emma and Owen Weinman; sisters and brothers, Diane and her husband Kevin Blough, Mike and his wife Marsha Shiflett, Bobby Shiflett, Jackie Stowers and Debbie Little and nieces and nephews.

At Linda’s request, private family services were held on Tuesday, March 3rd with burial in Rittman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
