Linda Lee (Linter) Longsdorf

Linda Lee Longsdorf, 78, of Lodi, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 1, 2021 after a period of declining health.

Linda was born in Canaan on Dec. 8, 1942 to the late William and Marie (King) Linter and was a 1960 graduate of Westfield High School.  She had milked cows on the family farm until 1977 and had sold life insurance for Woodmen Accident and Life.  For many years she sold Avon and in more recent years had provided home care in her home until her health failed.  A farm girl who had been active in 4-H, she was involved over the years in the Medina County Fair.  Linda was a member of the Weymouth Community Church and was a former member of Seville First Baptist Church.  She enjoyed caring for the bird and her flowers gardens but her greatest enjoyment was her family who will miss the wonderful Holiday meals that she prepared

Surviving are her 3 children, Joe and Melinda Lewis of Seville, Laura and Brad Mueller of Westfield Center and Christine Lance of Lodi; daughter-in-law, Sandy Lewis of Seville; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Judy Burnette of Marshallville and two nephews and a niece.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Longsdorf in 2009, a son, Billy Lewis in 1988; a granddaughter, Abigail and her parents.

Services will be Wednesday, May 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with her cousin, Philip King officiating.  Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. A family burial service will be held at Canaan Cemetery.  Memories may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
