Lillian Vilk

Lillian Z. Vilk, 98 of Creston, died Wednesday morning, June 14, 2016 at Smithville Western Care Center. Lillian was born February 14, 1918 in Benwood, WV to the late Henry A. and Zylpha (Wayt) Rollyson. She married John Thomas Vilk February 23, 1973 and he preceded her in death on September 12, 2004. She retired from General Motors after many years of service and had lived in Edgewater, FL and in Twinsburg, OH. She was loved by her many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her son, Corbin M. (Jill) Davis of Florida; her daughter, Carolyn (Thomas) Curtiss of Creston; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Charles Rollyson of Eleanor WV and Robert (Charlene) Rollyson of Greentown, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; son, Bernard Steele and two brothers, James and Maurice Rollyson. Services will be held Monday at 12:30 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Bob Grover officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
