Leslie Ann (Mathes) Diop

Leslie Ann Mathes Diop, 49, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Strasburg on March 3, 2022.

Leslie was born on Aug. 7, 1972 in Webster Springs, WV to James Truman Mathes and Brenda Isenhart and lived in the Medina area most of her life.  She was a very talented artist in drawing, jewelry making, crocheting and crafts.

Surviving are her children, Desiree (Matthew) Furcron, Robert Sutherland, Lavon Coleman and Serigne Diop; grandchildren, Lailah, Lawrence and Leah Furcron; her mother, Brenda Isenhart; her father, James (Leslie) Mathes; a brother, James Ray Mathes; a sister, Michelle Hawkins and her husband, Cheikh Diop.

Leslie was preceded in death by her sister, Ashley Isenhart.

Services will be Saturday, March 12th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main St., Creston, OH where friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. until time of services. A gathering will be held following the service at Murray Hall located in Creston Community Park.
