Larry Lee Wright, 70, of West Salem, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022 at his home after a brief illness.

Larry was born on June 2, 1952 in Lodi to Donald and Nina (Brown) Wright and was a 1971 graduate of Norwayne High School.  On May 12, 1973 he married Linda Levers and she survives.  He had worked at the Packaging Corp. of American in Rittman for many years and retired from LUK in Wooster.  Larry was an avid hunter who often said, “born to hunt, forced to work” He was a 55 year member of the Lodi Gun Club and had gone pheasant hunting in Iowa for 33 years.  Larry also enjoyed cutting wood at his home where he had resided for the past 47 years.

Surviving is his wife, Linda; children, Jennifer (Bret) Haven of Canaan, Dana Wright of Loudonville and Wes Wright of Wooster; his 8 grandchildren, Coen, Bryce and Renee Haven, Autumn and Carter Wright and Halle, Blake and Lillie Wright, a brother, Ronald Wright of Burbank and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Donald W. and several uncles that he was close to.

Services will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.  Burial will be private at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
