Larry Edward Uhler

Larry E. Uhler, 74, of Sterling, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021 after a period of declining health.

Larry was born in Wadsworth on March 9, 1947 and was the son of the late Forrest W. and Thelma E. (Gingery) Uhler.  On June 12, 1982 he married the former Judy L. Lance and she survives. He had worked at Admiral Machine in Wadsworth for 30 years and had made his home in the Creston and Sterling area all his life.  Larry loved being with his grandkids and he enjoyed cutting and splitting wood.

Surviving is his wife, Judy; children, Tricia (David) Beery of Rittman, Melissa (David) Kollar of Sterling and Matthew (Crystal) Uhler of Lakeville; his grandchildren, Dustin Troyer, Amber Troyer, Ashley Felter, Julian Uhler and Adrian Uhler; sisters and brother, Janet Smith of Wooster, Dale (Marilyn) Uhler of Creston, Betty (Mike) Sheppard of Creston and Patty Grosjean of Springfield and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Paul and Ronald Uhler.
