Larry Dean Morrison

Larry Dean Morrison, 72, of Rittman, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026, at his home after a courageous 5-year battle with cancer.

Larry was born on Nov. 25, 1953, in Wadsworth to Richard and Lois Grace (Mithcell) Morrison and graduated from Wadsworth High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War from 1972 – 1975. On Sept. 13, 1986, he married Jacqueline Lance, and she survives. Larry retired from Seville Bronze in 2020 and attended Crown Hill Mennonite Church. He loved to mow the yard and go fishing, and he was big sports fan having followed Ohio State, the Cleveland Browns, Guardians and Cavs and NASCAR racing.

Surviving is his wife, Jackie; sons, Chad (Angie) Copley, Paul (Chelsie) Copley and Dean Morrison; 6 grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a brother Kit (Marlene) Morrison and sisters, Sherry (Jack) Whitehouse, Nancy Weeks, Eileen Sykes and Paula (Jeff) Nix;

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dwayne Morrison.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, Oct. 19, 2026 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth with Pastor Dan Hooley officiating. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Suite E, Uniontown, OH 44685.
