Obituary:

Larry Glen Booth, 73 of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 3, 2018 surrounded by his family at home after a battle with cancer.

Larry was born July 26, 1945 in Wadsworth to the late Russell and Martha Booth and had made his home in the Creston, Burbank and Wooster areas. On March 26, 1965 he married the love of his life the former Dorothy Steele who survives. Larry worked for 26 years for Pepsi Cola in Wadsworth/Akron as the Wayne County Sales Manager. He attended Creston Church of God where he served as chairman of the board, head usher, organized fundraising and was involved in many other activities. Fifteen years ago, Larry and Dorothy moved to Wooster and started attending Grace Church. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing and he loved attending his grandchildren’s school and sporting activities. His greatest joy was sharing his faith with others and he will be greatly missed.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Jennifer Booth of Wadsworth and Rick and Kimberly Booth of Wooster; his 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Anna and Hailey; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Ginger Booth and Charles and Kay Booth of Wooster; Gary and Joyce Booth of Apple Creek, Don and Vicki Booth of Marysville and Lanny and Brenda Booth of Manchester, TN and nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Weaver and a brother, Wally Booth.

Services will be Monday, Aug. 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family extends their deepest appreciation and thanks to the staff of LifeCare Hospice, Dr. John Miller and the staff at Wooster Community Hospital for the wonderful care given to Larry. Your kindness will always be remembered.
