Kenneth L. Click, 73, of Creston, found his peace on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster after a period of declining health.
Kenny was born May 14, 1943 in Akron to the late E. Roy and Lilly (Zehner) Click and was a 1961 graduate of Norwayne High School. On Jan. 26 1963 he married the former Terri Rhoads and together they shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. He retired from Volvo in Orrville in 2000 and had made his home in Creston for the past 53 years. Kenny enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking, collecting Carnival Glass and he loved tending to his yard and flowers gardens. He also enjoyed decorating for Christmas but his greatest joy was being with his grandkids and being proud of all their many accomplishments.
He is survived by his wife Terri; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Curtis Vaughn of Rittman and Cathy and Jeff Arnold of Creston; 8 grandchildren, Trevor, Gretchen and Kayla Baisden, Jake and Zach Vaughn and Kinzi, Spenzer and Chantz Arnold; nieces and nephews a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by brothers, Harold Veney and Richard and Larry Click and sisters, Carol Walchalk and Doris Smith.
Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following in Burbank Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 4-8 p.m. at funeral home.
