Kathy Lynn (Nolletti) Starkey

"Together Again:

Kathy Lynn Starkey, 75, of Apple Creek, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.

Kathy was born on July 13, 1949 in Wooster to Ralph and Evelyn (Merreot) Nolletti and was a 1967 graduate of Triway High School. She graduated from Timken Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and had worked at the Wayne County Care Center for 33 years until retiring.  Kathy loved music, cooking, reading and working outside in her flower garden and she enjoyed attending Bible Study with her friends.  Her dogs, Frankie and Gia and the cat, Ivy were her faithful companions, and she will be missed by all her family.

Surviving are her children and their spouses, Troy and Wendy Starkey of Creston and Trista and Richard Haynes of Akron; step-daughter, Nolena and Russ Leonardi and family of Smithville; grandchildren, Javan, Ethan and Quest Starkey; step-grandchildren, Julia, Douglas, Eric and Consuela Haynes; step great-grandchildren, Isaac, Emelia and Eliza; brothers and sister and their spouses, Tom and Mary Nolletti of Wooster, Ralph and Beth Nolletti of Hughesville, MD and Amy and Ervin Byler of Dalton and nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Bott in 2007 and her parents.

There will be a celebration of Kathy’s life to be held later.  Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
